Molly catered to us with great care and a warm smile on her face and precision, not faulting on anything and remembering what our group of 12. Our food was out quickly and warm. Alex and Ella showed warm attitudes and hospitality towards us on entering as well as the other staff

Visited on a Sunday teatime during a busy bank holiday weekend in Durham. The actual restaurant was only 1/4 full, so felt a safe bet in terms of wait times for food etc.
The actual food was amazing, all the courses were cooked to perfection and was of amazing quality, the staff were all very polite and welcoming.
The service was a touch slow, very long wait to take initial drinks order that we were just ready to do the full order, time between courses was long and our table was never cleared of starter plates before main course arrived - was a bit disappointing when again the restaurant was only 1/4 full.
That said the staff were genuinely lovely, and again food was delicious. The service times perhaps could be put down to the intense heatwave slowing everyone down which is understandable. We would return again if in Durham!

Wow! What a such beautiful venue and service to suit. The staff we're exceptional and their attention to detail was second to none, I was treated like a VIP celebrity, at least I got to experience how the other half live now! I cannot recommend this place highly enough and words simply would not do it any justice at all, a picture paints a thousand words so feast your eyes of the pictures I was lucky enough to get to take while enjoying my personalized VIP treatment! I would recommend booking ahead though there are quiet times, summer is fast approaching and it's likely to get real busy at this prestigious venue, due to the exceptional quality of the food, very tasty, very fresh, very filling which left me very satisfied! Book now or miss out lol!
